The book is what I like to call the "extended" version of the zine & podcast. It's 150% the advice of the original, with added features like book recommendations, a resource section and space for personal reflection.

Haiki Review: Cold Souls

Guy stores soul and a
two-hour metaphor ensues.
Thanks, English degree!

I loved this movie. This movie was made for me. It talked about things I think about, questions that scare me, thoughts about emotion and purpose and soul, sometimes things so strange that I feel alone for thinking them. And then there it was, so much of it, in front of me on the big screen--the absolutely heartbreaking Paul Giamatti in this story so tender and earnest and true that you barely notice the absurdity until you're suddenly laughing riotously about it. The majority of Cold Souls requires the audience to largely suspend their disbelief. But its aim, its story and its players are so talented and so humanly transparent and funny that you will believe anything they tell you, answer anything they ask of you, and stay committed for the journey, however dark the path may veer. More of this, Hollywood!
